Jay and Laura met in 1973, in high school and were married in 1975. They now own and run their own business, Kelley Excavating Inc. in Centreville, Michigan. They have 2 children,Jayson and Jami, five grandchildren, and Sadie their dog. There son Jayson (which manages the Schwartz Family) helps run the family business. He is married to Carma, they have 3 children, Briley 5, Jayson Henry 3, and Charley 6 weeks old. Their daughter Jami, who is a school teacher, is married to Hans. They have two boys Grady 4 and Wyatt 2. They are currently in Costa Rica for three months, then moving to Dominic Republic for two years, where they will be doing missionary work. When not on the road playing music, Jay and Laura spend as much time as they can with their grandchildren, going up north to their cabin and spending time at home with their family.
