Jesse began singing and playing drums at a very, very early age. Their mother can testify to big brother Tobey climbing into his crib and holding jam sessions! There might even be pictures. Jesse has evolved into a very gifted singer and songwriter. After saying goodbye to an uncle, Jesse went home and wrote the moving words to “Just Goodbye For Now”. The family enjoyed watching the single go all the way to #4 on the Bluegrass Gospel charts, and hearing stories of how people related to the song. He also penned the title track to their latest album Scars, a powerful tribute to their father. Jesse also helps out by doing most of the bus driving for the group. With his strong vocals and servants heart, he is a tremendous asset to the group.
On Valentines Day 2001, Jesse married Laura, the love of his life. After years of being told they would never have a child, they found out they were indeed expecting. God is good! They welcomed Miss Taylor into their home on November 1, 2006. Much to their surprise, and the Doctors, they got the wonderful news again, and on March 11, 2010, Laura gave birth to a son, Aaron.
Jesse and Laura make their home in Sturgis, Mi, where they love to spend time doing family activities and cherish the moments they have with their little “miracles”.
