Tobey is the oldest of the Schwartz kids and is proud of his younger siblings and their ability to write and sing. "I'm simply amazed how far they have come in the last few years with the vocals" Tobey proclaims. He plays the bass, is the emcee for their concerts and does some songwriting for the group as well. Tobey has songwriting credits with several Southern gospel groups including the Inspirations who recorded his song "I Will Praise Him" which was nominated at the Singing News Fan awards for song of the year in 2005. Tobey says, "I finally understood why being nominated is so grate and winning wasn't that important. I always thought people just said it to say it but it's really true. The nomination was such an honor."
Tobey and his wife Erin have a son Logan and are expecting their second child this November. "Being a father and a husband is the greatest privilege God has bestowed on a man" says Tobey. Their little family stays very busy being actively involved with church and music. Tobey and Erin lead a marriage mentoring group, and are in leadership training at their home Church. Tobey is employed full time in the RV industry, occasionally drives a semi truck on Saturdays, helps take care of the family farm, and still loves to play church league softball. Erin is a massage therapist and a Mary Kary representative and Logan is in kindergarten with his cousins Morgan and Briley, loves to help daddy farm and drive truck and at night loves coloring in his coloring book with mommy.
Tobey and Erin and looking forward to the new addition coming in November and very excited about what the Lord has in store for the Schwartz Family in the coming year.
